If you authorize me to go to work for you, you can benefit right away from my help as your consultant, guide, negotiator, and agent, but real estate commission rules say I'm not really free to advise you or advocate for you unless you sign the proper form.
There's no pressure to sign the form until you are comfortable (I'll probably forget to ask unless you remind me), but I'll have it available so you can set me free to work for what's best for you whenever you're ready.
